Plan to build suburban hotel gets go-ahead

Heiton Holdings Plc, which has its headquarters in Clondalkin, Dublin, has been granted permission by Cork County Council to build the hotel at Ardrostig, Bishopstown a prime location at the eastern end of the Ballincollig bypass.

Included in the project is a function room, meeting room, conference foyer, restaurant, bar and leisure facilities, plus a multi-storey car park. The local authority also gave permission yesterday for Mallow-based Castlelands Construction Ltd to construct 125 homes at Banshane, Midleton.
