Government ‘fails’ on gas emissions

THE Government has spectacularly failed to meet commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, it was claimed yesterday.

The Green Party’s Dan Boyle said international agreements on the issue were pushed to the side and Ireland had barely scratched the surface of the problem.
