Determined Claire takes exams from hospital bed

TIME is a precious commodity when you are sitting your exams. But 16-year-old Claire Carmody Brick is constantly aware of just how precious time really is.

Like many other teens across the country sitting their Junior Cert exams, she buckles down to her exams at 9.30am.

Unlike the others, however, she is taking the exams from a bed in Tralee General Hospital.
