Lobby planned for FF Árd Fheis

The StopNow group is contacting the country’s 20,000 salmon anglers in the hope that many of them will join the mass lobby. Fianna Fáil is the only party without a policy on drift netting which accounts for 120,000 salmon a year.

A StopNow spokesman said his organisation wasn’t planning to picket the meeting or engage in megaphone diplomacy.
