‘Bleak future’ for Dairygold if changes not agreed
The food processing giant stressed there is no alternative to full acceptance of its proposed rationalisation and change programme and indicated many hundreds of unnecessary job losses will result in 2004 if the society does not achieve its objectives at this stage.
It warned the stark financial reality in such a scenario will dictate that little more than the statutory provisions will be available for those who will leave the business at that time.
