Almost €4m in drugs seized over the weekend

GARDAÍ have seized more than €3.7 million worth of cannabis and €150,000 worth of ecstasy in three separate raids in Dublin and Galway since Friday.

In the latest swoop, at a premises in Rathmines in Dublin, €150,000 worth of ecstasy and €100,000 worth of cannabis was seized in a garda raid at about 5pm on Saturday.

Two men and two women were arrested in connection with the haul. The two women, who were aged 19 and 22, were released without charge from Sundrive Road Garda Station yesterday morning.
