Nelligan not only one to blame, says Deirdre’s mother
"She's not the only one to blame. There is, in fact, one more person, who is much more culpable than she is.
"Deirdre died, not because the gardaí did not do their job. She died because people told lies. There are many people out there who have knowledge of crimes, who have knowledge the gardaí would use. Those people do not have the right to make a judgment, to decide if the information they have is appropriate or not.
