Ahern evidence damning, say FG

SERIOUS speculation suggests damning evidence against the Taoiseach will be presented at future stages of the Flood Tribunal, Mr Ahern heard yesterday.

The appointment of Judge Alan Mahon as the new chairman was ratified by the Dáil last night by amending the terms of reference of the tribunal.

But the Taoiseach was strongly criticised again last night for his handling of Justice Feargus Flood’s resignation as chairman of the planning tribunal.
