A JUDGE yesterday warned the jury in the trial of man accused of murdering a Cork schoolboy about the extraordinary inaccuracies in media coverage.

Wayne O’Donoghue, aged 21, is charged with the murder of 11-year-old Robert Holohan on January 4 at his home in Ballyedmond, Midleton, in Co Cork.

At the Central Criminal Court, Judge Paul Carney warned the jury that they must try the case only on the basis of the evidence presented in court.
