FAMILIES of the Omagh bomb victims yesterday asked Justice Minister Michael McDowell to publish a report into claims gardaí had advance warning of the atrocity.

The report was commissioned 16 months ago after the Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman alleged that gardaí had withheld information from the RUC which may have prevented the bombing.

Twenty-nine people and two unborn children died when the bomb exploded on August 15, 1998.
