Man jailed for assault faces extradition on murder charge

A MAN jailed for a brutal attack on a Cork woman is expected to be extradited to Britain within a next few days.

He is wanted in connection with the murder of a prostitute.

British Police have confirmed that they are proceeding with the extradition of the man, who is his early 50s, and hope to have him stand trial within the next 10 weeks.
