Vomiting bug breaks out in hospital

STRICT visiting restrictions were in place at Munster’s largest hospital last night after a major outbreak of the winter vomiting bug.

Two adult wards at Cork University Hospital (CUH) were affected by the bug.

Hospital managers restricted visits to a patient’s direct next-of-kin or immediate family.
