Limerick turning into ‘Cinderella City’, says deputy
Despite its ‘Gateway City’ status under the Government’s National Spatial Strategy, Labour front bench spokeswoman Jan O’Sullivan said Limerick was losing out, particularly to Cork and Galway.
“Even though there are two Government ministers within my constituency, Limerick has seen the establishment of the new regional health authority in Galway, the relocation of An Post’s automated distribution system to Cork and the expected announcement shortly that An Post will also be relocating its administrative headquarters from Limerick, also to Cork,” Ms O’Sullivan said.
