The jig’s up for Suzanne

THERE’LL be no more ‘around the floor and mind the dresser’ for Suzanne Walsh who was last night given the heave-ho from RTÉ’s Celebrity Jigs ‘n’ Reels.

The jig’s up for Suzanne

The latest contestant to be given the dancing boot had, in a previous TV-land existence, worked as a beauty therapist for Channel 4’s reality TV series, The Salon.

Suzanne is credited with being the viewers’ choice when the public was given the opportunity to vote a member of staff from the first series back into the second series.

No such luck with Jigs ‘n’ Reels, however, where viewers thought herself and professional dancer/partner Scott Porter were not good enough to continue with their high knees efforts.

Each week, the celebrity contestants are at the mercy of the public vote and the four judges as they perform to remain in the competition.

The Grand Final is on Sunday, April 30.

Each celebrity represents their chosen charity and most of the monies raised by the tele-vote go to those charities.
