Quinn to announce leadership intentions

LABOUR leader Ruairí Quinn is expected to announce whether he intends to stay on as head of the party in the coming weeks.

The party leadership is up for grabs in October when the leader's official term of office expires.

Mr Quinn is out of the country on holidays and will be back to work at the end of the month.
