Fans go off the rails with fashion fever

IRELAND’S most successful fashion extravaganza returns to the RDS in Dublin today.

Fans go off the rails with fashion fever

RTÉ’s Off the Rails Live has become a veritable one-stop-shop for all elements of fashion, beauty and well-being with glamorous presenters, Pamela Flood and Caroline Morahan, on hand during the three-day event.

The fashion-conscious duo will also be bringing together all the elements from the highly successful TV show.

They will have their camera crew in tow capturing the events and the atmosphere for a programme to be aired on Wednesday November 30 next.

One unsuspecting visitor to the live show over the three days will be chosen for a surprise makeover.

The event also promises to be a veritable who’s who of the fashion and design world with many of the contributors being familiar faces on the television series.

There will be 10 fashion show times to chose from this year with specially-reserved seating at each show featuring top Irish boutiques such as Lara, Chica and many others.

The final of the Off the Rails Style Award will take place tomorrow when six finalists will model their most stylish outfits on the catwalk while the judges decide who gets the €5,000 prize.

As well as daily fashion shows and hundreds of exhibitors this year’s event will feature many Irish and international designers, fashion stylists, image consultants, hair stylists and make-up artists who will offer their best tips for this season’s look.

Also on hand will be some of the best experts in the country who can give advice on living life to the full. An entire section of the exhibition is fully dedicated to body and mind wellbeing.

New this year is Discount Delights where there will be up to 20% off usual store prices at selected stalls.

And for those who want to unwind and relax there is a food court offering a wide variety of foods and drinks.
