McBreartys express fears of tribunal cover-up

THE McBreartys of Donegal last night spoke of their living nightmare when family members were wrongfully accused of murder and subjected to garda harassment and intimidation.

The Raphoe family claimed the Morris Tribunal into alleged garda corruption, which opens next week, was a waste of taxpayers money and expressed fears of a cover-up.

The McBreartys insisted the tribunal’s terms of reference was too restrictive to bring out the full truth in their case which centred around the death of a farmer Ritchie Barron.
