Gardaí appeal for public’s help with investigation into two rapes

A REPORT of a second rape in Cork city in less than 24 hours is being investigated by gardaí.

The alleged attack on Watercourse Road late on Tuesday night followed a brutal assault on an Australian visitor on the Western Road in the early hours of the same day.

The latest sexual assault is believed to have been carried out by a man in his 30s who may have been following his victim.
