Media asked to stop hunting girl in phone porn probe

A LEADING psychiatrist yesterday asked the media to stop hunting for the schoolgirl at the centre of a mobile phone porn investigation.

The call comes as gardaí continue to interview the girl at her parents' home in Dublin. Detectives are attempting to establish who was responsible for taking and distributing a sexually explicit picture of the 14-year-old.

Under the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act anyone convicted of distributing such images could be jailed for up to 14 years.
