Government to publish 14 bills in three months

THE Government expects to publish 14 new bills before the end of the year, bringing to more than 100 the number of bills published by the Coalition.

Publishing the Government’s legislative programme for the new Dáil term yesterday, Chief Whip Mary Hanafin said the Government had made considerable progress in implementing its programme for Government.

“Our level of progress in implementing agreed policies has been significant over the past two years, and the Government is confident of sustaining this rate of legislative reform into the future,” she said.
