Millions face death from hunger, says Concern

TIME is running out for millions of people, many at risk of dying in famine-threatened countries this Christmas, a relief agency warned yesterday.

With the countdown continuing to tomorrow’s Concern 2003 Fast, the agency has set a target of raising 2.7 million.

Two of the worst food shortage crises are in Ethiopia and Liberia. Children, especially, are among the millions whose lives are at risk.
