Refugee jailed

A REFUGEE who caused the death of his friend by his dangerous driving was jailed for three years by the Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday.

Aslan Dudaev (aged 24), a Chechnyan from Georgia, had been given a one-year suspended sentence and ordered to leave the State after he pleaded guilty in January to the September 22, 2005, offence in Co Sligo.
