Roche moves to appoint waste regulator

The proposal is part of a major review of waste regulations announced by Mr Roche yesterday that aims to streamline and modernise the service nationwide.

Local authorities currently issue permits for all waste collection and storage but in many cases there is a huge divergence between the prices that many operators charge nationwide.
