Case against plastic surgeon may take years

THE New York law firm engaged to sue the plastic surgeon who operated on Limerick woman Kay Cregan before she died suddenly said yesterday it may be years before the case is resolved if it goes to trial.

Irish-born lawyer Thomas Moore has lodged a multi-million law suit with the New York Supreme Court alleging negligence against Dr Michael Sachs.

Ms Cregan’s anaesthetist, Dr Madhavrao Subbarao has also been named in the proceedings.
