FAST-FOOD chain McDonald’s said yesterday it is looking at the possibility of offering Irish customers at its 68 outlets the extensive new salad range it is launching in Britain.

From the end of this month, British diners are being offered a choice of salads in what McDonald’s has described as the biggest menu change in the UK for 30 years.

The company is introducing meal-size salads, a side salad, fresh apples and a burger made from the meat substitute Quorn.
