Having returned to find his car about to be towed, James Lennon staged a lock-in and phoned his local radio station to highlight his plight.

Within minutes, a crowd of about 200 people had gathered on the busy Cork City centre street and began to shout “shame, shame”, forcing clampers to abandon plans to remove the car.
