THE mother of a Down Syndrome girl has called on President Mary McAleese to stop the Disability Bill.

Celia Foley helped establish the Kenmare Special Needs Support Group in 1995, but she said 10 years later little has changed.

“But, when you have a child with a mental handicap you learn very quickly to become a fighter,” wrote Celia Foley in a letter to President Mary McAleese.
