"Yes we got the bounce of the PR ball every time. But in the same way we didn't get that bounce in the past two elections. In many ways we were due a bit of luck."

One of the party's four new Senators, and part of a dozen-strong PD delegation headed for Leinster House next month, the outspoken Corkman says he is brimming with enthusiasm for the challenges ahead.
