This is how five-year-old Limerick boy Mark Larkin understands why he has to have blood transfusions every five weeks in order to remain alive.

Mark, from Castletroy, has a bone marrow disorder and his body does not produce red blood cells. So he needs regular blood transfusions to stay healthy.
