A Dublin man who broke into his neighbour’s home and attacked the family living there with a knife has been found not guilty by reason of insanity at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A south Dublin man who slashed four neighbours with a knife told gardaí he had smoked cannabis beforehand and had been smoking it every night for about 20 years.

A 21-year-old man on trial for murder told one of his friends that he had stabbed another man as they left a house party in the early hours of the morning, a murder trial jury heard today.

“SOME people have too much blood and some people have too little.”
