TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern was last night accused of hypocrisy over battling for the rights of illegal Irish workers in the US.

He is alos accused of doing nothing to save up to 50,000 undocumented foreigners in Ireland from exploitation.

The Enterprise and Justice departments say they have no idea how many "illegals" are in the Republic.
