STUDENTS must stop being ‘slaves to style’ and cover up brand names on their clothing with No Logo stickers, the Green Party urged yesterday.

In a bid to raise awareness about the conditions of the millions of people around the world working in sweat shops, the party called on young people to block out brand names.

Eamon Ryan, the party’s Dublin South TD, said the idea is to put out the message that young people can be stylish without displaying logos.
