DETECTIVES investigating threats against a high-profile crime journalist last night arrested a teenage girl in connection with the planting of a fake booby trap explosive device and other incidents.

She was arrested in the Foxrock area of Dublin under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to 12 hours.

Earlier yesterday, two men, aged 22 and 25, were arrested in the Crumlin area of south Dublin by detectives probing threats against Sunday World crime editor Paul Williams.
