Gardaí to release Omagh probe findings in two weeks

FINDINGS of an inquiry into the gardaí’s investigation of the Omagh bombing are to be released in two weeks’ time.

Relatives of victims of the 1998 bomb which killed 29 people raised the matter at a meeting in Dublin yesterday with Foreign Affairs Minister Brian Cowen.

They also requested an investigation into the issue by the Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman's office.
