Circuit Court administrator retires
County Registrar Louise McDonough retired this week. From her offices in Tralee Courthouse, she was also involved in High Court administration, held the title of county sheriff and was returning officer in elections.
One of her most abiding memories is that of the general election recount in Tralee in 1987, when then Labour party leader Dick Spring held onto his seat by a mere four votes.
