The two are skipper Glenn Cott, 30, from Ballycotton in Co Cork, and Polish national Jan Sankowski, 45.

Kriston Pawtowski, a Polish crew member in his early 30s, was found clinging to a liferaft - suffering from severe shock and hypothermia - at 11.55pm.

Lifeboats from counties Waterford and Wexford, fishing vessels and a coast guard helicopter also took part in the search, which was co-ordinated by the LÉ Ciara.

On Saturday, family members of Glenn Cott were taken to the location where the boat sank. They laid a wreath while prayers were said for Jan Sankowski.

The search for the men is due to continue today.
