100 help search for fishermen

MORE THAN 100 people combed cliffs and beaches along the south-east yesterday for two missing fishermen from the Maggie B vessel which sank 8.6 kilometres south of Hook Head on Wednesday.

The two are skipper Glenn Cott, 30, from Ballycotton in Co Cork, and Polish national Jan Sankowski, 45.

Kriston Pawtowski, a Polish crew member in his early 30s, was found clinging to a liferaft - suffering from severe shock and hypothermia - at 11.55pm.
