Labour set to make history when 3,500 vote for their leader

HISTORY will be made next month when the Labour Party’s 3,500 members get a chance to elect a leader.

Labour is the first major political party in Ireland to allow its rank-and-file members a direct say in its leader's election.

This system is part of the Labour Party constitution adopted at their annual conference in Cork last year.
