Woman’s violent death shocks city

THE murder of a Kilkenny mother of two has sent shock-waves through the city.

Christine Quinn, 36, suffered multiple stab wounds and bruising to her head and body. A murder inquiry has been launched into her death.

The former hotel waitress had worked part-time at Hotel Kilkenny on the outskirts of the city. But she hadn’t been working there in recent weeks.
