Paedophile sues mother of his rape victim

A CONVICTED paedophile has launched a legal challenge from his prison cell against the mother of the child he brutally raped.

The man, who worked as a remedial teacher in a primary school, is now serving a ten-year sentence at Cork Prison.

In a letter sent by his solicitor, the rapist is demanding a substantial sum of money in compensation for an assault he suffered at the mother’s hands two years ago when she first discovered the abuse.
