More bar staff now support the legislation to halt smoking in the workplace and believe it has yielded huge benefits for their health.

Mandate, the union which represents the majority of bar workers, said research had revealed that 94% of pub staff have experienced little or no difficulty in implementing the smoke-free law, which celebrates its first anniversary next week.
