Media keep Bush waiting but President has final say

IT was the day the stranded media kept George W Bush waiting until they were liberated by a Garda patrol crew from a traffic jam caused by an anti-war protest on the N18.

Double decker buses left the EU-US summit press centre in St Flanahan’s College in Ennis for the six mile journey to Dromoland Castle at 12.15 pm.

The trip should have taken less than 15 minutes.
