SF blasts war

SINN FÉIN’S Mary Lou McDonald said yesterday that the war on Iraq was without justification, illegal and based on a tissue of lies.

“The ongoing brutal occupation of the country is wrong and must end,” the New Dublin MEP said.

She said the transition to democracy cannot happen while the US and Britain continues to occupy Iraq.
