GOVERNMENT blunders are set to cost Ireland over €100 million as Brussels cracks down on “negligent” ministers, the Greens last night insisted.

The warning came after the European Court yesterday ruled the Republic should be stripped of €15.6m in social funding after irregularities in claims were discovered.

The defeat follows a number of costly EU setbacks for the Government.
