BEAUMONT HOSPITAL said last night that it will admit a Mayo teenager on a life-support machine for neurological assessment as soon as a bed becomes available.

Christopher needs to be assessed by the top neurological team at Beaumont’s intensive care unit and get an MRI scan to establish the extent of his head injuries.
