Lowe raises disease profile

INTERNATIONAL TV and film star Rob Lowe, whose father had lymphoma, wants people round the world to be aware of the symptoms of the disease.

His father, Chuck Lowe, a trial lawyer in the US, was diagnosed with the disease in 1990 and would have been treated earlier if the warning signs had been recognised sooner.

“My father had experienced flu-like symptoms and swollen glands for a while before diagnosis,” Rob recalled.
