Bullying claims probe

MILITARY police are investigating a bullying claim made by a Defence Forces recruit on basic training at a barracks in Dublin.

Forty new recruits to the forces will be interviewed about the claim that one was forced to eat food off a floor and that he was locked in a locker.

The Defence Forces last night confirmed an investigation in to the allegations was launched a week to 10 days ago. The probe centres on McKee Barracks.
