MORE than 6,000 electricians are to go on an all-out strike after employers failed to agree a pay deal yesterday.

The national executive of the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union (TEEU) endorsed the move after 95% of electricians voted in favour of strike action on June 10.

The dispute, which is the first to hit the sector in seven years, is expected to cause massive disruption to the construction, manufacturing and service industries.
