FG backers urged to transfer votes

FINE GAEL voters were urged by Enda Kenny last night to transfer to Labour and the Green Party in the local and European elections.

Building upon the links between the opposition parties, the FG leader also called for a “citizens’ referendum” on election day of June 11 to begin the process of changing the Government.

Opening the 72nd Fine Gael Árd Fheis at Citywest Hotel in Dublin, Mr Kenny said June 11 is the first chance the country will have to show how repulsed it is by a vulgar Fianna Fáil/PD Government, who have made treachery an art form.
