Gilligan daughter quizzed over €20,000 in suitcase

DETECTIVES continued to question the daughter of jailed crime boss John Gilligan yesterday after she was stopped at Dublin Airport carrying a suitcase stuffed with €20,000 in cash.

Tracey Gilligan, aged 28, was searched by customs officers at the airport on Wednesday evening as she was about to board a plane to the Spanish resort of Alicante, where she has been living for some time.

Officers found the money in one of her suitcases and seized the luggage pending further investigation.
