Probe will not name abusers

RELIGIOUS institutions have disclosed new information about abuse to the Child Abuse Commission, that was not the subject of complaint by victims.

Probe will not name abusers

The revelation was made after commission chairman, Mr Justice Seán Ryan, confirmed it would not name individual perpetrators unless they are convicted in the courts.

The inquiry will begin next Monday and will hear evidence from representatives of Government departments, religious institutions and victims, in that order.
